Designing New Homes For Your Lifestyle

Free Consultation

Our process starts with a Free Consultation so we can get to understand your project and introduce ourselves. We then provide you with a proposal and estimate to complete your design work.

Preliminary Design or Concept Plan

All ideas will be compiled to create a Preliminary Design or Concept Plan. This plan is useful for early discussions with the council and builders. Typically, a floor plan and elevations (with 3D modelling) are provided. Geotechnical investigation/design or other specific engineering design can be conducted after this stage.

Developed Design

The next phase is the Developed Design, which refines the concept plan with the inclusion of building sections and construction detailing. This level of design typically allows accurate confirmation of your building costs.

Building Consent

A Specification is then prepared to finalise the Building Consent documentation. We usually submit the Building Consent application on your behalf and serve as your agent throughout the consent application processing.

The standard fee for our services ranges from 3% to 5% of the total cost of the completed build. For example, if the final cost of your new home is $600,000, our design fee will be within the range of $15,000 to $30,000. Each project is evaluated based on its individual merits and complexity. We maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance with a coverage limit of $2,000,000.
